Arkansas College Grants and Scholarships for Single Moms

You can see single mothers juggle, work and home life day in, day out. Often trying to pursue a college degree just to provide better living standards to their kids. Most of the times, paying for college while putting food on the table and paying the bills are almost an impossible feat. Single mothers have to raise kids, do well at work and spend time with their family all together that too without the support of a companion. In the midst of all these responsibilities it almost seems impossible to attend college or complete a degree.

It has been estimated that nearly 38 percent of single mothers live at or below the poverty level. Those with at least a bachelor’s degree are five times less likely to find themselves in such a dire financial state.

United States of America understands the importance of education in the modern world. It now provides many opportunities for individuals to excel in their career paths especially for single mothers who need it the most to sustain their custodial children.
